On August 19, Prof. Gong Shengkai, the Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and of Beihang University, was accompanied by Mr. Wu Jie, Secretary of the CPC’s Committee and General Manager of C.S.I. Group and other leaders, visited C.S.I. Group.
General Manager Mr. Wu Jie briefed Academician Prof. Gong Shengkai on the history, scientific and technological innovation, industrial investment, and dual-carbon strategy of C.S.I. Group. Then Academician Prof. Gong Shengkai, was accompanied by the general manager Mr. Wu Jie, visited the Precision Machinery Division of C.S.I. Power, the Engine Assembly Workshop, and the New Plant of ULVAC Vacuum in Jiangbei district, Ningbo, had detailed knowledge of the manufacturing technique, technology research and development, and market use of the high-power medium-speed diesel engine and vacuum equipment of C.S.I. Group. As a well-known expert in metal materials and surface treatment in China, Academician Prof. Gong Shengkai fully affirmed the achievements of C.S.I. Group in the research and development of engines and vacuum equipment, especially in the research and development of transmission parts under extreme working conditions, and provided valuable insights and comments on follow-up product development and technical cooperation. The two sides had a deep exchange of views on the current industrial upgrading, construction of the industrial chain, and dual-carbon strategy, and reached a consensus on using TianMuShan Laboratory and Enterprise Research Institute as a common R&D platform, to promote the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, and committing to industrialization.
In the next phase, C.S.I. Group will consistently adhere to technological innovation-driven development, relying on the national post-doctoral scientific research workstation, to strengthen cooperation in scientific and research institutions such as Tsinghua University, Beihang University, Zhejiang University, Jiao Tong University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, to accelerate communication and integration with Yongjiang Laboratory, TianMuShan Laboratory, Baima Lake Laboratory, etc. in qualified personnel training, industry-university-research cooperation and other aspects, to be committed to the focus of the development ideas of “Innovation, Intelligence, and Green”, in order to provide strong support of the qualified scientific and technological personnel for promoting the research and development of a new high-reliable, energy-saving and environment-friendly high-power marine engine and new vacuum equipment.
